DRUM BUILDING & BUYING A SHAMANIC DRUM

DRUM BUILDING:

Building your own drum, as well as building any other instruments is a physical manifestation of a part of your essence, your inner core, your soul. This process is a very special one and requires adequate space and time, therefore I offer the drum building in a single setting only (1:1 setting). We build your drum together in one day and I accompany you from the very beginning to the very end, from the choice of skin, colors, symbols to the finished drum. Even after the drum is built, I will continue to be there for you and support you when questions come up. We don't build your drum just to build a drum, but we go into this creation process together to create a drum that will empower, uplift and bring you strength in your life. If you don't want to build the drum on your own, there is also the possibility that I build the drum for you through a joint process.

The price of the drum building varies between 550 - 700 CHF depending on the drum size and animal skin and includes all materials and the course costs. To clarify further, there is a 30-minute conversation before the drum building, during which we already decide on the first details, I answer your questions and explain you the whole process.

BUYING A SHAMANIC DRUM:

If you do not want to make your own drum, it is also possible to buy a shamanic drum handcrafted by me and my father. I offer this service in co-operation with my father, who has been deeply connected with Lakota shamanism for the past 40 years and was also able to learn from the medicine man Archie for many years. You can either choose from already existing drums (different skins, with or without hair and different sizes) or you also have the possibility to be in contact with us and customize your shamanic drum. These shamanic drums are built with great care and love. Our construction is durable and very suitable for drums that are repeatedly exposed to different climates (alternating humidity and temperature).
